The nHiot greenhouse is a cool new design for the Nürburgring, but the company has been caught up in controversy over a photo of the decal.
Nürburgrings owner Rolf Nureyev says the company will replace the design with a new one in the coming weeks.
He says the decals will be manufactured in Austria, and that it’s “unlikely” that they’ll ever be used by Nürbergring fans.
But if they’re replaced, there are no plans to stop fans using the nhiet logo, and the logo has been around for some time, so fans should be OK.
A spokesman for Nürringringring said: “NHTI, the FIA and the FIA WEC have asked the manufacturer to produce decals for all cars at the Nurburgring this year.”
The manufacturer is working to develop a new logo with the current nhiot logo in the future.
“A statement from NHTI said:”The FIA has received the supplier request for a new nhit logo and the n-axis of the logo on the rear wing.
We are currently analysing the request and will make the decision in due course.
“In addition to NHT I and the F1 World Championship, Nürburring’s F1 team has had to deal with a series of scandals in recent years.
In March 2016, the team was forced to change the number of cars in order to comply with the new regulations.
In February 2018, a member of the team allegedly stole a Ferrari 458 Italia, and he later pleaded guilty to theft and was given a suspended sentence.
