A project that is slated to be completed by 2019 is now nearing completion and it’s expected to cost taxpayers more than $6 billion.
The $2.5 million project is being built by the Trump National Club in Westchester County, New York, according to the New York City Department of Buildings.
The project is named after the 19th president of the United States.
The project, which is slated for completion by 2019, will include a clubhouse and a 2,200-seat ballroom.
The club will have access to about 2,600 acres, according the project website.
The building’s estimated cost is $2,500 per square foot, according Bloomberg.
The Trump National Course opened in 2014, and is now home to about 200 golfers.
The clubhouse will have a 6,500-square-foot open-air ballroom, which will include an indoor-outdoor basketball court and a tennis court.
The club will also have a 4,000-square foot clubhouse.
The ballroom will have an open-pit horseshoe and a 3,500 square foot outdoor pool.
The resort will have four hotels on the property: The Four Seasons Resort at The Meadows in the Park at Westchester; the Hyatt Regency at Westwood; the Four Seasons Hotel & Spa at The Woodlands; and the Four-Diamond Club at The Woods in Westwood.
The resort will be a new, 21,000 square foot building with a restaurant and bar.
